MOOT
A Second Shift for Your Textiles
📍 10 September | 13:20 – 13:30
The Berlin start-up MOOT focuses on upcycling, creating unique products from 100% discarded textiles. Through a scalable upcycling solution for discarded corporate materials such as textiles, packaging, and banners MOOT reintroduces materials back into the circular economy. MOOT is already working with major corporations such as DHL, Deutsche Bahn, and the German Football Association. Under the fashion label of the same name, MOOT, also produces clothing and accessories from post-consumer waste like leather jackets and bed linen.
Join us at Circular Textile Days for the unveiling of “Second Shift,” a new full-scope circular solution for corporate textiles. Since its launch in 2024, MOOTstudio, our industrial upcycling solution, has manufactured over 50,000 upcycled products from hundreds of different textiles for over 50 different companies and organizations in the DACH area. We specialize in creating custom scalable upcycling solutions, transforming everything from used banners and packaging to entire lines of corporate wear into products that tell a unique story. However, not every piece of workwear can be upcycled into a new product. That’s why we’ve partnered with Frankenhuis, a specialist in mechanical textile recycling. This way, 100% of your textiles may be reintroduced into the textile life-cycle, whether in the form of new fibers or upcycled products. Through our partnership with Frankenhuis, we can ensure that 100% of your textiles are given a “Second Shift”.
