Sympany
Building the textile chain of the future
📍 11 September | 13:10 – 13:20
Sympany is a Dutch textile collector and sorter. We process 17 million kilos of discarded textiles annually. Our goal as a foundation is to make the polluting textile supply chain circular and clean, and to conserve as many resources as possible.
Big changes are required in order to process the increasing amount of discarded textiles. The current way of sorting textile is still manually, which isn’t efficient and competitive. Project SORTED is Sympany’s big step forward. Sympany’s director Charles Graft explains how a consortium of 17 companies and organisations are working together to build the textile chain of the future.
