What does it take to design truly circular products — and how can certifications accelerate this transition? This session brings together Bonprix and Socklab to share their journeys with Cradle to Cradle Certified® (C2C Certified®) and the lessons they have learned along the way.
Bonprix recently achieved Silver certification for its entire denim collection, marking a significant milestone across five key criteria: product circularity, safe chemicals, production conditions, resource efficiency, and emissions. Socklab, on the other hand, has reached the Gold level. Both companies will discuss the opportunities and challenges they encountered in achieving certification, and what this means for their future collections and market strategies.
Moderated by sustainability expert Nienke Steen, the panel will explore how C2C Certified® complements other standards, how circular design principles can be scaled across the value chain, and the role of certification in consumer trust and supply chain transparency.
