Saxcell & ARMEDANGELS
From Waste to Worth: Scaling Recycled Materials Without Compromise
📍 11 September | 14:00 – 14:20
With Meliha Kesek (Saxcell) & Päivi Eräpuu (Armed Angels)
What can you expect?
Armed Angels, the German fashion brand founded 18 years ago with sustainability at its core, has consistently proven that fashion can grow without compromising values. From starting with organic cotton to embedding a clear impact strategy, Armed Angels has scaled responsibly while staying true to its vision: great design, authentic storytelling, and measurable impact.
Saxcell, a Dutch innovator in manmade cellulose fibres, offers a breakthrough solution: producing new fibres from end-of-life textiles without cutting down trees. Together, Armed Angels and Saxcell have built a long-term partnership that brings innovation directly to market. In April 2025, they launched their first collaborative products: three denim items that show recycled fibres can fit seamlessly into a medium-price segment without compromising design or quality.
This session will showcase how authentic partnerships, clear targets, and a focus on transparency make scaling recycled materials possible. The collaboration proves you don’t have to start big — even a few products can set change in motion.
