Teijin Aramid BV: Roadmap to circular protective textiles
Teijin Aramid is a global leader in high-performance materials. Our advanced aramid fibers, including Twaron®, Technora® and Teijinconex®, are renowned for their exceptional strength, durability, and heat resistance. Committed to sustainability, we continuously innovate towards a fully sustainable and circular aramid value chain.
In this pitch, we will explain Teijin Aramid's ambitions and challenges to close to loop for the protective apparel industry and how we bring this to a next level with our 3 tiers of recycling technology.
Teijin Aramid’s goal is a fully sustainable and circular aramid chain in 2050. The aramid life cycle starts with our production processes and our efforts to reduce energy and raw materials consumption. It continues with our light, strong and durable aramids acting as sustainability multipliers for our customers and end users. And when our aramids have reached end life, we aim to close the chain by recycling our aramids and give them a second life.
