Lessons Learned
(Interactive Session)
15:20–15:30
VAUDE and O’Neill are each bringing one concrete circular project, experiment or ambition that developed differently than expected, and the focus is on the reality behind that ambition: what the goal was, what challenges emerged along the way, and what the brand underestimated. Rather than hearing the outcome straight away, the audience is invited to explore possible solutions themselves, guided by moderator Lukas Mauve, before VAUDE and O’Neill share what they actually did and what they learned from the experience.
Jutta van Ballegooijen (HVEG Group), Group Sustainability Manager From awareness to ownership: embedding sustainability and circularity in everyday business. She will share HVEG Group’s lessons learned on embedding sustainability and circularity into everyday roles, processes and business decisions, and on turning shared responsibility into accountability.
Robert Klauer (VAUDE) works on shaping and implementing future circular business models, including VAUDE Rent, VAUDE Second Hand and repair services. Joffrey Delfgaauw (O’Neill Europe), Head of Innovation, Technology and Sustainability, brings over 25 years of experience in product creation and innovation within global sportswear brands, combining product expertise, commercial insight and sustainability to advance product longevity, circularity and lower-impact solutions.
