With realistic circular and sustainable textile solutions in a broad set-up

Circular Textile Days is an annual, business-focused event that brings together innovators, brands, retailers, suppliers, policymakers, and knowledge partners to accelerate circular textiles. We showcase practical solutions across the value chain and connect the people needed to scale them from pilots to implementation.

WHAT WE DO

Circular Textile Days connects the entire textile value chain:

  • Circular material innovators

  • Technology providers

  • Brands & retailers

  • Recyclers & sorters

  • Knowledge institutes

  • Policymakers & industry associations

  • Investors & system enablers

We showcase real solutions across the RE-strategies, from redesign and reuse to recycling and regenerative materials, and create a platform where implementation becomes possible.

CTD is not just an event. It is a growing ecosystem built around collaboration, transparency and long-term partnerships.

Our STORY

Circular Textile Days was founded to create a focused platform for circular textile innovation and collaboration.

Over the past five editions, CTD has grown into a recognised meeting point for the European circular textile community, connecting innovators, brands, policymakers and industry leaders ready to move from ambition to action.

Circular Textile Days exists to accelerate progress between roadmap milestones, turning dialogue into implementation and partnerships into scalable impact.

The roadmap is set. The momentum must follow.

REASONS TO VISIT…

The 2025 edition brought together a diverse community of innovators and decision-makers committed to accelerating circular textiles.

Highlights included:

  • Solution-driven exhibition floor
  • Strategic round tables on scaling challenges
  • Deep-dive sessions connecting policy and practice
  • Cross-border partnerships and new collaborations

The shared conclusion was clear: collaboration and system alignment are essential to make circularity commercially viable and operationally scalable.

REASONS TO VISIT…

It is not easy to separate sense and nonsense in the textile industry. Why? Because we are overwhelmed by information from many sources, varying in quality. At the Circular Textile Days clear answers will be provided! Participants and knowledge centers will share relevant and reliable knowledge about sustainability and circularity.

Circular Textiles Days is the event with an informal and focused ambiance, while presenting the latest innovations in circular and sustainable textiles. Exhibitors showcase groundbreaking technologies, you can find an extensive information square and there willl be inspiring presentations.

Attention will also be paid to the Dutch Technical Agreement NTA 8195, developed by NEN, which defines categories of “circular textiles”. This NTA working standard will be beneficial to the entire textile industry, in particular for corporate wear tenders.

The Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CRSD) and Extended Producer Responsibility are also highlighted.

Government organisations in The Netherlands, Belgium and other EU countries have made plans with high ambitions for 2025-2030-2050. At the Circular Textile Days, you will find tools to meet these demands!

GOING BEYOND AN EVENT

In 2024, students interviewed 14 companies across the value chain to develop the Circular Textile Days Manifesto under the theme Moving Beyond Dialogue.

The CTD Manifesto

The manifesto highlights:

  • The need for coherent EU legislation

  • Long-term collaboration over short-term pilots

  • Financial incentives that support circular business models

  • Overcoming inertia within both companies and consumers

The manifesto reinforces CTD’s commitment to systemic change, not incremental adjustments.
